the breeze outside is cool
the clouds a blanket over the earth
appears to be approaching nightfall,
but really it is only afternoon.
quiet outside today
not even a bird in sight
or squirrels playing
fall is here, winter is on its way.
before you know it the snow will be falling
the temperatures will dropping below
with winter brings the hustle and bustle of
Thanksgiving
Christmas.

watching the leaves change color
from a park bench
