Trust...What About It?

Who can we trust?
Lost so much,
don't know...if I can...
get any of it back.
I go on and on,
looking and searching...for what?

Can't seem to grasp my hands around it...long enough.
Do we really, truely trust...completely...whole heartly trust?
I do not know...sometimes I think so,
then suddenly...there it goes...out the window like a cold winter's breeze.
Trust...what about it...
is it really there or are we fooling ourselves?

God is the only one I can trust for real...
I can trust Him to not judge me,
I can trust Him to always be there,
I can trust Him to not leave me standing alone,
I trust in Jesus...the only one.
